ARRESTS POSSIBLE THIS WEEK INVOLVING MILLVILLE SHOOTOUT

Arrests are forthcoming in connection with a wild shootout in Millville Monday night.  Three vehicles were struck by gunfire and a baseball game was halted for player safety during the shooting which took place near South High Street.  No one was shot; suspects have been identified. ##

CRDA GIVES THUMBS UP TO ATLANTIC CITY BEER GARDEN

The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority has given a thumbs up to a beer garden in Atlantic City.  The Authority approved a plan to put the beer garden between South California and South Belmont Avenues.  Over 300 people may be accommodated, and there will be two bars.  It could open July 4th. ##

LT. GOV. GUADAGNO UNVEILS NEW ATTACK AD IN GOP PRIMARY

New Jersey Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno has unveiled a new attack ad in advance of the June 6th gubernatorial primary.  Her campaign has a new ad that blasts Assemblyman jack Ciattarelli over his alleged support of higher taxes.  This is Guadagno’s second television ad in the campaign. ##

STATE’S TOP FEDERAL JUDGE GOING TO PARTIAL RETIREMENT

New Jersey’s top federal judge is going into partial retirement.  Chief Justice Jerome Simandle is assuming senior status and will be replaced by Judge Jose Linares.  Simandale will now hear a reduced number of cases; he’s 68 years old. ##
