WILDWOOD CONTINUES TO UPGRADE, UPDATE CITY PARKS

The City of Wildwood continues to provide necessary improvements to its various parks.  Mayor Ernie Troiano announced that the city has installed sprinkler systems and other improvements at the parks as part of a city-wide beautification effort.  Sick and dead trees have been removed, and decorative fountains have been installed. ##

HARD ROCK CAFE UNVEILS PLANS FOR TAJ PROPERTY IN ATLANTIC CITY

Hard Rock has bought the former Trump Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City, and on Wednesday unveiled major plans for the property.  The Hard Rock announced that it intends to include thousands of slot machines, two large arenas, and other amenities when it re-opens for business in the summer of 2018. ##

LOWER TOWNSHIP COUNCIL HEARS DISCUSSION ON BAY DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS

INVESTIGATIONS UNDERWAY INTO FIVE SUICIDES AT LOCAL JAIL

There have been five suicides at the Cumberland County Jail over the past 30 months; now, the feds are investigating.  NJ.com reports that the United States Department of Justice will be investigating the suicides that began in 2014; there was a fifth suicide at the jail two months ago. ##
