NO WINNER IN POWERBALL, JACKPOT SOARS TO $435 MILLION

The Powerball lottery jackpot keeps climbing.  There were no winners in Wednesday night’s drawing which puts Saturday’s jackpot at an estimated $435 million.  There were four million dollar ticket winners last night; none were from New Jersey. ##

ATLANTIC CITY TO HOLD RIBBON CUTTING ON NEW BOARDWALK

Atlantic City officials will hold a ribbon cutting event Thursday morning on a brand new section of the boardwalk.  The boardwalk has been reconstructed from Rhode Island Avenue to Oriental Avenue.  The city received a $5 million grant to help do the work. ##

MURPHY ALREADY ON THE ATTACK AGAINST GUADAGNO

Democrat Phil Murphy has come out swinging against republican Kim Guadagno.  Murphy says when he is elected governor he will find money for planned parenthood; he has criticized Guadagno for taking money away from family planning clinics for seven years. ##

SUSPECT INDICTED IN CONNECTION WITH ATLANTIC CITY MURDER

43 year old Joseph McCoy has been indicted by a grand jury on charges that he murdered 23 year old Jacqueline Hoyle in Atlantic City in December.  McCoy was been indicted on four counts, including one for murder.  He could face at least 30 years in prison on the murder charge alone. ##
