HABITAT FOR HUMANITY RESTORE OPENING SET FOR SATURDAY

Cape May County’s Habitat for Humanity ReStore is having a grand opening event in Cape May Court House on Saturday.  The store will open to shoppers for the first time, next to Big Lots and down the sidewalk from TJ Maxx.  Proceeds help fund housing projects for those in need. ##

PROSECUTOR STILL INVESTIGATING TEEN’S DEATH IN MIDDLE TWP.

Cape May County Prosecutor Robert Taylor continues to solicit leads in connection with the death of 13 year old Vincent Weiner of Rio Grande over the weekend.  Weiner was found deceased in his residence; an autopsy has been conducted but no cause of death has been announced. ##

TWO ARRESTED IN VILLAS DRUG BUST

Two adults have been arrested in Lower Township during a drug bust this week at a home located on Wildwood Avenue in the Villas.  Lower Township Police say they recovered heroin, cocaine, and other drugs in a home occupied by 38 year old Keith Chatelain and 32 year old Charlene Bell. ##

WOMAN MURDERS NJ TRANSIT BUS DRIVER IN SOUTH JERSEY

A 44 year old Sicklerville woman fatally shot a New Jersey Transit bus driver, then turned the gun on herself.  Police say Piacenta Jackson of Woodbury shot and killed 45 year old Ryon Reynolds of Sicklerville at the New Jersey Transit bus garage in Washington Township Tuesday afternoon.  No word yet on what sparked the [...]
