NEW DATA SHOWS CRIME DROPPED BY FIVE PERCENT IN NEW JERSEY

New data released by the State of New Jersey Friday shows that the overall number of crimes has declined over a one year period.  Data from 2015 was released today and it shows violent crime decreased by one percent, but murder increased by four percent from the prior year. ##

SUMMER’S COMING: NORTH WILDWOOD TO ACTIVE TRAFFIC SIGNALS MONDAY

A sure sign of summer’s arrival comes next week when some shore communities fully activate traffic signals and take them off flashing yellow and red.  North Wildwood Police announced that various traffic signals around the city will return to full functionality on Monday, May 1st. ##

VETERANS ENROLLMENT CLINIC TO BE HELD AT ACCC ON SATURDAY

A veterans’ enrollment clinic will be held Saturday afternoon at the Middle Township branch of Atlantic Cape Community College.  Congressman Frank LoBiondo says this will be the 13th enrollment clinic in South Jersey for vets who do not enjoy VA benefits. ##

LOBIONDO REAFFIRMS POSITION ON OFFSHORE DRILLING

Congressman Frank LoBiondo on Friday reaffirmed his opposition to any offshore drilling for fuel along the eastern seaboard.  President Trump may call for offshore drilling off the coast of the United States to further reduce America’s dependence on foreign oil. ##
