BODY WASHES ASHORE IN ATLANTIC CITY, MAY BE MISSING SWIMMER

A body washed ashore Thursday evening in Atlantic City, and it may be that of a 31 year old man who was reported missing in the surf on Tuesday. The body came ashore near the former Revel Casino shortly after 7:30pm Thursday. ##

Governor Christie is touting a major achievement in Atlantic City’s recovery..the end of casino tax appeals. Christie says the state has reached an agreement with seven current or former casinos; those appeals drained the city’s finances. ##

SEARCH HAS BEEN SUSPENDED FOR FOR DROWNING VICTIM

The United States Coast Guard has officially suspended the search for a 31 year old man who entered the ocean near Atlantic City’s Steel Pier earlier this week. The search was conducted by the Coast Guard for nearly 24 hours with no recovery. ##

LESNIAK: LET OTHER COUNTRIES GET IN ON INTERNET GAMING

New Jersey Senator Ray Lesniak thinks it’s a good idea for other states and countries to get in to New Jersey’s growing internet gaming market. He will introduce a bill that would allow gamblers in Nevada, Delaware, and other countries to play internet casino games that are based in New Jersey. ##
