CHRISTIE WANTS STRAUB TO GET CASINO LICENSE, OR SELL “TEN”

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is calling for “Ten” owner Glen Straub to get a casino license or sell the former Revel casino property in Atlantic City.  Christie says Straub simply does not want to go through the process of obtaining a casino license. ##

CHRISTIE LAUDS ATLANTIC CITY GATEWAY PROJECT

Governor Christie says it’s time to celebrate Atlantic City again thanks to the new gateway project.  Christie attended the groundbreaking event Thursday on the new project that will result in a college campus and a parking garage.  Some of the improvements will be completed in 2018. ##

REPORT: FORMER REVEL CASINO COULD OPEN IN EIGHT WEEKS

The former Revel Casino could be opening in the middle of June.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that new owner Glen Straub says he could open a portion of the former casino on June 15th.  The Revel has a name change, and is now called “TEN”. ##
