RESTAURANT OFF THE HOOK IN LAWSUIT REGARDING SEAFOOD, AMPUTATION

AVALON, SEA ISLE CITY HOLDING ELECTIONS ON TUESDAY

Two local communities will be holding elections on Tuesday.  Avalon has a contested election for three seats on Borough Council, while Sea Isle City’s election is uncontested.  Polls will be open from 6am until 8pm. ##

AVALON/STONE HARBOR DREDGED USED FOR SAFETY TRAINING

A dredge that is doing a major beach fill project in Avalon and Stone Harbor was used for an important safety training exercise on Thursday.  The Cape May County Regional Search Team went on board the dredge “Texas” to conduct a demonstration on how to make safe rescues in confined spaces. ##

AVALON, OTHER COMMUNITIES CELEBRATE ARBOR DAY

Avalon and other communities around Cape May County celebrated Arbor Day on Friday.  Avalon Mayor Martin Pagliughi joined the Avalon Garden Club for the planting of a new honey locust tree located on a Dune Drive median at 66th Street. ##
