MAN BUSTED FOR TRYING TO SELL STOLEN LAWN MOWER

It was a steal of a deal for a lawnmower, literally, in Vineland.  City Police arrested 31 year old Alberto Colon for trying to sell a stolen lawn mower on a phone app.  Colon was also charged on an outstanding warrant. ##

SCHOOL DISTRICT INVESTIGATING EDITING PRESIDENT’S NAME IN YEARBOOK

The Wall Township, New Jersey school district is investigating why President Trump’s name was removed from clothing featuring two students.  The district also says a Trump quote was stricken from the yearbook, but a quote from former President Franklin Roosevelt was allowed to stay. ##

REPORT: FORMER REVEL WILL NOT OPEN THIS MONTH

The former Revel Casino in Atlantic City will not be re-opening this month.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that owner Glenn Straub confirmed that the casino will not open by his self imposed June 15th deadline.  Straub also says the property is for sale, at the right price. ##

OVERNIGHT, WEEKDAY CLOSURES OF 96TH ST. BRIDGE EXTENDED ONE WEEK

Some overnight, weekday closures of the 96th Street Bridge in Stone Harbor have been extended for a week.  County Engineer Dale Foster announced that the closures are now needed through June 16th, but will not be occurring over the weekend. ##
