MAN STABBED IN RIO GRANDE, POLICE SEARCHING FOR SUSPECT

Middle Township Police say a 54 year old man from Atlantic City was stabbed in the abdomen over the holiday weekend and the suspect remains at large.  William Crawford was stabbed while at 203 Linden Lane; he was airlifted to an Atlantic City hospital with two stab wounds. ##

ATM STOLEN FROM COURT HOUSE DINER

Middle Township Police say someone stole an ATM from the Court House Diner over the holiday weekend.  The machine contained over $4,000 in currency and was removed from the property after the phone, cable, and internet lines to the diner were cut.  Police have no suspects in custody. ##

AVALON BEACH FILL PROJECT ENDS OVER HOLIDAY WEEKEND

Avalon’s beach fill project was completed during the first half of Memorial Day weekend.  Beaches from 77th Street to 80th Street have new sand; Avalon placed about one million cubic yards of sand on its beaches in advance of summer.  This major project ends with sand being placed on Stone Harbor’s northern beaches. ##
