DETOUR ON ROUTE 47 IN ADVANCE OF LABOR DAY WEEKEND

A small bridge on Route 47 in Millville is closed for emergency repairs, setting up a detour in advance of Labor Day weekend.  State officials say Route 47 is closed in both directions at the Menatico Creek Bridge on the highway, and traffic will be detoured to routes 49 and 55 until further notice. ##

SOUTH JERSEY MAN KILLED BY FALLING TREE THAT HE CUT

An 85 year old man who was cutting down a tree at his home in Mullica Township was killed when the tree fell on him.  Mullica Police say Ronald Loatwall was killed Thursday morning when the tree fell on him.  Police arrived and medics determined that Loatwall was dead. ##

VINELAND LIQUOR STORE FORCED TO CLOSE FOR ONE DAY
