HIMEBAUGH, OTHERS GATHER FOR “MISSING IN NEW JERSEY” EVENT

The mother of missing Del Haven resident Mark Himebaugh and dozens of others gathered at Rutgers University over the weekend for the “Missing in New Jersey” event.  The event brought together families of missing New Jersey residents as authorities reaffirmed their commitment to do the best they can to locate missing residents. ##

SPORTS: CATHOLIC SOFTBALL COMPLETED UNDEFEATED SEASON

A huge milestone for the Wildwood Catholic softball program.  It finished its first undefeated season in conference play with an 11-4 victory over St. Joseph’s on Friday.  The Gazette Leader’s Brian Cunniff reports that the Lady Crusaders are 15-5 overall, and 12-0 in conference play. ##

RABID LAMB DISCOVERED IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY

It’s not often a lamb winds up with rabies, but it’s happened in Cumberland County.  County health officials have no idea how the lamb came down with rabies, but the department is asking anyone who came in contact with lambs in the County to contact the department. ##

SPEAKER VINCENT PRIETO SEEKS A THIRD TERM

Assembly Speaker Vincent Prieto says he will seek a third term as speaker of the lower branch of state government.  Prieto says he has a “progressive” record and expects to earn the support of democrats who control the Assembly. ##
