MILLVILLE WOMAN ARRESTED, CHARGED WITH TAKING MONEY FROM CHURCH

Millville Police have arrested and charged a 62 year old woman with stealing nearly $60,000 from a woman’s group that provides funding to the St. Nicholas Ukranian Church in the city. NJ UNEMPLOYMENT RATE EDGES UP SLIGHTLY

New Jersey’s unemployment rate edged up to 4.5 percent in August, representing a three tenths of a percentage point increase in one month. New statistics show the state got rid of 700 private sector jobs but added 900 public positions.

CAPE MAY TO BE FEATURED ON “HAUNTED TOWNS” TV SHOW

Producers of the “Haunted Towns” TV program on the Destination America channel revealed that Cape May will be featured on next week’s show. The episode will premiere Tuesday, Sept 19th at 10 p.m. and explores the Emlen Physick Estate and the Cape May Fish Market. Reportedly, some “pretty creepy” things were caught on camera.
