STATE TO HAVE MORE AUTHORITY OVER HORIZON PER BUDGET DEAL

The State will now have much more oversight of Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield under terms of the budget agreed to by the legislature and signed by Governor Christie early this morning. A cap will now be set on Horizon’s reserve fund and surplus will be used for the benefit of its subscribers. ##
