NJDEP COMMISSIONER TO DISCUSS BEACH PROJECTS

New Jersey DEP Commissioner Bob Martin will discuss the various beach projects and water quality along the Jersey Shore on Wednesday.  Martin will attend a press conference in advance of Memorial Day weekend to discuss many of the active projects in the State, and to reaffirm the State’s high water quality levels. ##

NORTH WILDWOOD JOINS CODE RED EMERGENCY ALERT SYSTEM

North Wildwood has joined the Code Red emergency alert system.  Mayor Patrick Rosenello announced that residents will be able to get telephone calls from the city’s office of emergency management before and during storms and other emergencies.  North Wildwood has also established a city emergency management website. ##

MIDDLE TOWNSHIP POLICE SEARCHING FOR SECOND RUNAWAY TEEN

Middle Township Police are searching for a second runaway teen who left the Oasis Youth Shelter.  Police say 14 year old Jermasia Wright left the shelter on May 15th and has not been seen since.  She has no cell phone and is said to frequent Salem County, Wilmington, and Philadelphia. ##

WOMAN ASKS FOR REFUND AT LOCAL DINER..ONE WEEK LATER

Middle Township Police are asking the public’s help with identifying a woman who asked for a refund at the Court House Diner one week after she allegedly ordered food there.  The woman indicated she had food that the diner doesn’t even serve and left in a U-Haul truck.  Police want to know if other businesses [...]
