WOODBINE MAINTAINS SECOND LOWEST TAX RATE IN NEW JERSEY

Woodbine maintains the second lowest tax rate in the State of New Jersey.  The Woodbine Borough Council approved a new budget this week that maintains the local purpose tax at $234 annually per $100,000 of assessed valuation.  15 percent of the collection goes to the County. ##

VINELAND POLICE SEARCH FOR NAIL THROWERS

Vineland Police are searching for the individuals responsible for throwing a large number of nails into driveways at the Vineland Industrial Park.  Police say more than 30 tires have been damaged through the years that the nail throwing has occurred.  They may have a culprit on video, a man riding a motorcycle. ##

20 POUNDS OF POT FOUND IN EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP HOME

20 pounds of marijuana and guns were all found inside a home located on Glenn Avenue in Egg Harbor Township this week.  Police have charged four adults with various drugs and weapons offenses following the recovery. ##

STONE HARBOR’S 2017 BUDGET INCLUDES SMALL TAX HIKE

A small tax hike this year in Stone Harbor.  Council met earlier this week and approved a new budget that includes a half penny increase in the local tax rate.  Officials also announced a recent dredging project has been completed. ##
