WORKERS THREATENED WITH A KNIFE WIELDING MAN IN BRIDGETON

Bridgeton police say a man pulled a knife on two men who were working on a building in the downtown district on Tuesday afternoon.  Bruce Cisrow has been charged with approaching two men who were doing repair work and threatened one of the workers with a knife.  Cisrow was charged with weapons offenses. ##

RATING AGENCY SAYS CHRISTIE BUDGET WOULD STRESS SCHOOLS, TOWNS

Standard and Poor’s believes Governor Christie’s proposed $35.5 billion state budget would stress both local school districts and municipalities.  The rating agency says many school districts will not get additional state aid and that will be a problem for these districts as they attempt to meet expenses. ##

RAIN IN FORECAST FOR COUNTY’S FIRST HIGH SCHOOL GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP

Rain is in the forecast tomorrow for the first Cape May County high school golf championship.  The event is expected to feature all six high schools from the County participating at the event at Shore Gate Golf Club. ##
