REPORT: COUNTY PROSECUTOR’S CLAIM AGAINST DEMARZO TOSSED

THREE BUSTED IN MARGATE, BEACH FIGHT INCLUDED HUNDREDS

A Memorial Day weekend beach fight in Margate that included about 300 young adults has resulted in three arrests.  Police say three young adults were charged with assault and disorderly conduct following the disturbance; some teens were drinking on the beach, and using marijuana. ##

NEW JERSEY HOMELAND SECURITY DIRECTOR RESIGNS

The man in charge of counter terrorism in the State of New Jersey has resigned.  Chris Rodriguez has stepped down as the head of the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness; he is being replaced by Jared Maples next week. ##

COUNTY TO HOST EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS CONFERENCE WEDNESDAY

Cape May County will be hosting an emergency preparedness conference Tuesday morning at the County administration building at Crest Haven.  Cape May County Emergency Management Director Martin Pagliughi has assembled speakers who will discuss the hurricane forecast for 2017, power restoration, and how to properly take care of your pets during an emergency. ##
