REPORT: FORMER MIDDLE GOLF STAR PLAYING IN PGA EVENT IN CANADA

Former Middle Township High School golf star Alex Hicks is scheduled to participate this week in a PGA Tour Canada event. The Gazette Leader’s Brian Cunniff reports that Hicks qualified for the event in Manitoba that has a total purse of $175,000. ##

HIT THE BEACHES! LIFEGUARD COMPETITION SEASON STARTS THIS WEEK

It’s time to hit the beaches for the annual tradition of lifeguard competitions at the Jersey Shore. Wildwood Crest will host the first competition Friday evening, weather permitting, with the annual Cape May County Lifeguard Championships, which should feature all of the beach patrols in Cape May County. ##
