PRESIDENT TRUMP DEPARTS NEW JERSEY AFTER FUNDRAISER

President Trump spent the weekend in New Jersey and did some political fundraising.  The President raised nearly $1 million for Congressman Tom MacArthur and the Republican Party.  Trump was the guest of honor at the fundraiser, and managed to stop by a local wedding. ##

CAPE RE-STORE HOLDS WEEKEND GRAND OPENING

A new Middle Township retail store that helps Habitat for Humanity efforts opened over the weekend.  Cape Re-Store opened inside a section of the former Superfresh supermarket in the Township over the weekend with hundreds of people checking out the deals during grand opening weekend. ##

REPORT: MIDDLE’S HUNTER TO PLAY LACROSSE AT LASALLE

Middle Township’s hugely successful girls lacrosse program is sending a senior to LaSalle University.  Brian Cunniff of the Gazette Leader reports that Allison Hunter will continue her athletic career at the Division I university.  She will join teammate Bridget Ruskey at LaSalle. ##

BRIDGETON MAN KILLED IN WEEKEND ACCIDENT

A 57 year old Bridgeton man was killed over the weekend when he was struck by a car on County Road 606 in Upper Deerfield Township.  State Police say Rafael Hernandez-Martinez was killed when he was struck by a BMW; the driver of the car cooperated with police. ##
