GUADAGNO VOTES FOR HERSELF, SAYS POLLS ARE SAFE FROM HACKERS

Among those casting a vote in the New Jersey primary election today?  Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno, who voted for herself in the republican gubernatorial primary.  Guadagno told reporters after she voted that the State’s polls are safe from hackers because cartridges installed in the voting booths prevent any internet attacks. ##

PARKWAY RAMPS TO BE CLOSED IN ATLANTIC COUNTY WEDNESDAY EVENING

Two ramps on the southbound side of the Garden State Parkway will be closed to motorists Wednesday night into Thursday morning.  The ramps from Tilton and Fire roads will be closed to traffic during the overnight hours as part of the Parkway’s widening project. ##

CAPE MAY POLICE OFFERS PROJECT MEDICINE DROP BOX

Cape May Police are now participating in Project Medicine Drop.  Chief Anthony Marino told Coastal Broadcasting that residents can drop off unwanted medications in the box at any time at the police station, located on Washington Street. ##

KILO OF HEROIN, COCAINE AND WEAPONS SEIZED FROM PLEASANTVILLE MAN

A 37 year old Pleasantville man has been arrested after authorities found a kilo of cocaine and heroin, along with weapons, in his possession.  The New Jersey Office of the Attorney General announced that Terrance Harris was arrested Friday after nearly 8,000 packets of heroin was found in his possession.  He could face over a [...]
