ONE INJURED IN ACCIDENT OUTSIDE OF WILDWOOD INVOLVING BIKE

A 19 year old bicyclist suffered minor injuries when he was struck by a car on the George Redding Bridge outside of Wildwood Saturday night.  Lower Township Police say the driver of the vehicle, 30 year old Matthew J. AROUND THE ISLAND ROW TO BE HELD IN NORTH WILDWOOD MONDAY

BANNER PLANE CRASHES IN MIDDLE TOWNSHIP, PILOT INJURED

Middle Township Police report the crash of a Paramount Air Service banner plane in Green Creek Sunday afternoon.  The 20 year old pilot of the aircraft was circling to land when the plane lost power and crashed in the marshes.  The pilot suffered lacerations to his head and was transported to a local hospital. ##

TOURISM ACCOUNTS FOR OVER 26,000 JOBS IN CAPE MAY COUNTY

Tourism accounts for just over 26,000 jobs in Cape May County.  A new report from NJ Spotlight shows that one out of every ten jobs in New Jersey is connected to tourism, and Cape May County is behind only Atlantic and Ocean counties for the number of tourism-based jobs. ##
