COAST GUARD MEDIVACS FISHERMAN FROM OFF MANASQUAN INLET

The United States Coast Guard medivaced a fisherman off a boat about five miles off the coast of Manasquan Inlet on Tuesday.  The 49 year old man was suffering chest pains and shortness of breath.  He was taken to shore where he was treated by emergency medical services. ##

WILDWOOD MOVIE NIGHT POSTPONED; AVALON’S MOVES INSIDE

Avalon’s free beach movie has moved inside this evening due to the rain.  Avalon will show the movie “Storks” at 8:30pm inside Avalon Community Hall.  Wildwood has postponed its showing of the movie “Moana”; it will be shown tomorrow night. ##

REPORT: VINELAND COPS TO WEAR BODY CAMERAS

Vineland Police will soon be wearing body cameras.  The Daily Journal reports that Vineland has entered into a nearly $400,000 contract with a company to supply 100 new body cameras to police officers; the cameras will arrive within three months. ##
