CASINO REVENUES DIP SLIGHTLY IN ATLANTIC CITY

Casino revenues dipped slightly last month in Atlantic City. The casinos took in $268 million compared with $275 million during July of last year. The numbers do compare when the city had one more active casino last year, the Trump Taj Mahal. ##

REPORT: LOCAL TEEN DIED OF DRUG OVERDOSE

A 13 year old boy from Middle Township died from an overdose that included heroin and fentanyl.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that Jamie Lund, the mother of Vincent Weiner, confirmed the account of her son’s death on social media over the weekend.  Weiner was a local seventh grade student.   ##

$50K POWERBALL TICKET SOLD AT SEA ISLE CITY ESTABLISHMENT

A Powerball lottery ticket worth $50,000 was sold at a packaged goods store in Sea Isle City.  The New Jersey Lottery announced that one of the five tickets sold in New Jersey that are worth $50,000 was sold at Kixx Package Goods, on 63rd Street.   ##
