LOWER TOWNSHIP MOVING TOWARDS REGULATING VACANT PROPERTIES

The Lower Township Council is pushing forward with plans to regulate vacant properties.  Council met last week and introduced an ordinance that would force these property owners to register with the Township and pay a $500 fee to do so. ##

REPORT: LOWER TWP. WOMAN SENTENCED FOR DEADLY ACCIDENT

A Lower Township woman has received a jail term of 200 days, plus four years probation, in connection with a traffic accident that killed her daughter.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that Kristen J. Conner was texting was driving during a 2014 accident that killed her 11 year old daughter. ##

LOWER TOWNSHIP MAN ARRESTED FOR POSSESSING CHILD PORNOGRAPHY

A 51 year old man from North Cape May has been arrested and charged for being in possession of child pornography.  Authorities announced that charges have been filed against Charles Dodds Jr. who lives on Summer Circle.  Dodds allegedly uploaded images of child pornography to various social media sites. ##

LOWER TOWNSHIP COUNCIL HEARS DISCUSSION ON BAY DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS
