HIMEBAUGH, OTHERS GATHER FOR “MISSING IN NEW JERSEY” EVENT

The mother of missing Del Haven resident Mark Himebaugh and dozens of others gathered at Rutgers University over the weekend for the “Missing in New Jersey” event.  The event brought together families of missing New Jersey residents as authorities reaffirmed their commitment to do the best they can to locate missing residents. ##

MIDDLE TWP. POLICE ANNOUNCE TRAFFIC DETOUR ON ROUTE 9

Middle Township Police have announced a traffic detour for Monday morning along Route 9.  Police say there is a damaged utility pole that has resulted in the closure of Route 9 from Satt Boulevard in Rio Grande to Main Street in Edgewood.  The road is expected to be closed until about Noon. ##

BREAKING NEWS: MIDDLE TWP. POLICE ALERT KEROSENE CONSUMERS

Middle Township Police are actively seeking individuals who purchased kerosene from April 24th through May 10th from the Riggins Gas Station located on Route 9 in Cape May Court House.  Police say the kerosene is extremely flammable because it was accidentally mixed with gasoline and is highly flammable.  Approximately 85 gallons of this flammable mixture [...]

WETLANDS INSTITUTE EARNS DISNEY CONSERVATION GRANT

The Wetlands Institute has earned a Disney Conservation Grant totaling nearly $24,000.  The grant was awarded to the Institute for its proactive efforts to protect the Northern diamondback turtle population.  The Institute will use the funding to help eliminate some of the threats to the terrapins. ##
