JUDGE: NEW JERSEY CAN TAKE BEACH PROPERTY TO BUILD RESILIENCY

A judge has ruled that yes, New Jersey can condemn properties in two New Jersey beach communities to widen the beach and build resilient dunes.  A Superior Court judge ruled in favor of the state in connection with 60 properties in question in both Bay Head and Mantalooking.  NJDEP Commissioner Bob Martin hailed Thursday’s decision. DOUBLE MURDER SUICIDE REPORTED IN LACEY TOWNSHIP

A Lacey Township man killed his seven year old son, wife, and family dog before taking his own life on Thursday.  Authorities say the killings took place in a residential neighborhood; the 51 year old suspect had self-inflicted injuries and later died at a hospital. ##

HUGE PRESCRIPTION FRAUD BUST COST MILLIONS, NETS TWO SUSPECTS

AGAIN, NO WINNER IN POWERBALL, JACKPOT OVER A HALF BILLION

For the 19th consecutive drawing, no winner in the Powerball lottery.  New Jersey Lottery officials say the estimated top prize for Saturday night’s drawing will be over a half billion dollars.  It will be the eighth largest jackpot in our country’s history. ##
