VOICE RECORDER FOUND IN NEW JERSEY JET CRASH

The voice recorder has been found from the Lear jet that crashed in northern New Jersey earlier this week.  The National Transportation Safety Board began its investigation Tuesday, and officials on site say the wind was a concern at the time of the accident that claimed two lives. ##

CHRISTIE’S BUDGET HAS REVENUE SHORTFALLS…AGAIN

Another budget proposed by Governor Christie includes a huge revenue shortfall.  The Office of Legislative Services believes Christie’s new budget falls $687 million short of projections.  The Treasury Department will present its final revenue figures today. ##

NJ SENATOR CALLS FOR LEGALIZATION OF MARIJUANA

State Senator Nicholas Scutari on Monday unveiled his plan to legalize marijuana in New Jersey.  Scutari says the move would generate $300 million in tax revenue which could fund essential programs.  Governor Christie calls Scutari’s plan “stupid”. ##

TWO DEAD IN CRASH OF LEAR JET IN NORTHERN New Jersey

The investigation continues into the crash of a Lear jet near the Teterboro Airport in northern New Jersey Monday afternoon.  The plane crashed upside down, killing the two pilots on board; they were the only people on the jet at the time of the crash.  The National Transportation Safety Board is en route. ##
