MAN RELEASED FROM JAIL, ROBS DUNKIN’ DONUTS STORE

A 22 year old Newark man who was released from jail decided to rob a Dunkin’ Donuts store one day after he got out of the can.  Police are looking for Dante Hobson-Taylor of Plainfield who broke into the store during the overnight hours, stole money, and fled the scene. ##

MORE OPPOSITION LINES UP TO FIGHT TRUMP ON OFFSHORE DRILLING

More opposition is lining up to fight President Trump on his plan to sign an executive order that will permit offshore drilling.  Major environmental groups around the country are joining New Jersey based tourism and business groups in fighting the plan, saying the environmental risk is too great. ##

POLL: MANY LIKE BOOKER, BUT DON’T WANT HIM AS PRESIDENT

A new Quinnipiac University poll shows 57 percent of New Jersey residents approve of the job performance by Senator Cory Booker, but more than half of the respondents don’t want Booker to run for President.  The poll also gives President Trump a 35 percent approval rating. ##
