COAST GUARD MEDIVACS FISHERMAN FROM OFF MANASQUAN INLET

The United States Coast Guard medivaced a fisherman off a boat about five miles off the coast of Manasquan Inlet on Tuesday.  The 49 year old man was suffering chest pains and shortness of breath.  He was taken to shore where he was treated by emergency medical services. ##

DEVELOPING: FIVE PEDESTRIANS STRUCK BY VEHICLE IN SOUTH JERSEY

Details are still emerging regarding an accident that involved a motor vehicle injuring five pedestrians last night in the South Jersey community of Clementon.  Police say the driver remained at the scene of the accident. ##

REPORT: LOCAL TEEN DIED OF DRUG OVERDOSE

A 13 year old boy from Middle Township died from an overdose that included heroin and fentanyl.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that Jamie Lund, the mother of Vincent Weiner, confirmed the account of her son’s death on social media over the weekend.  Weiner was a local seventh grade student.   ##

$50K POWERBALL TICKET SOLD AT SEA ISLE CITY ESTABLISHMENT

A Powerball lottery ticket worth $50,000 was sold at a packaged goods store in Sea Isle City.  The New Jersey Lottery announced that one of the five tickets sold in New Jersey that are worth $50,000 was sold at Kixx Package Goods, on 63rd Street.   ##
