PRESIDENT TRUMP DEPARTS NEW JERSEY AFTER FUNDRAISER

President Trump spent the weekend in New Jersey and did some political fundraising.  The President raised nearly $1 million for Congressman Tom MacArthur and the Republican Party.  Trump was the guest of honor at the fundraiser, and managed to stop by a local wedding. ##

CHRISTIE A NO SHOW LAST WEEK AT GUADAGNO VICTORY PARTY

Governor Christie was a no-show at a victory party for Kim Guadagno last week as she wrapped up the GOP nomination for governor.  Christie says the media is making a big deal out of nothing, saying he didn’t want to take the spotlight away from his second in command. ##

SCHOOL DISTRICT INVESTIGATING EDITING PRESIDENT’S NAME IN YEARBOOK

The Wall Township, New Jersey school district is investigating why President Trump’s name was removed from clothing featuring two students.  The district also says a Trump quote was stricken from the yearbook, but a quote from former President Franklin Roosevelt was allowed to stay. ##

STATE CRACKING DOWN ON OFFICIAL STATE BIRD: MOSQUITOES

The State wants to do all it can to combat the mosquito problem that will be coming this summer.  State health officials say this could be a very bad for mosquitoes due to the wet, cool spring that we enjoyed this year.  It will be stepping up its education and testing efforts. ##
