Sea Isle City will host its annual food truck festival this weekend. Nearly 20 food trucks will be involved in the festival that begins Friday and ends Sunday. The event will include some crafters and live music as well.
A proposal that would have allowed for later outdoor music in Sea Isle City did not get a single vote of support from City Council during this week’s meeting. This comes on the heels of an earlier vote this spring to shoot down a proposal for longer sidewalk dining hours in the resort. ##
A new bill has been approved by the State Assembly that would require the owners of Jitney buses to register in each town for which they operate. Some towns including Avalon require Jitney bus drivers to pass background checks and register with the Borough, while some other municipalities where Jitneys operate do not. ##
The Sea Isle City Council will meet Tuesday morning and is expected to take action on an ordinance that will adjust the hours when bars and clubs can have music, dancing and entertainment.
