Wildwood’s city commission meets Wednesday afternoon and is expected to declare the repair and refurbishing of the city’s boardwalk a municipal priority. EDDIE MONEY, FOGHAT TO PERFORM ON WILDWOOD BEACH

Eddie Money and Foghat will both perform in a beach concert in Wildwood on September 8th. The concert will occur during what’s known as “Biker’s Weekend” and is being promoted by Alan Nau, who assisted with the Kenny Chesney concert in Wildwood five years ago. ##

REPORT: FORMER WILDWOOD FOOTBALL STAR NOT PLAYING FOR DELAWARE THIS SEASON

Former Wildwood High School football star Wesley Hills has been declared academically ineligible and will not be playing for the University of Delaware this season. The Gazette Leader’s Brian Cunniff reports that Hills and one other player will not suit up; Hills was entering his redshirt senior year at Delaware. ##
