WILDWOOD CITY HALL TO HAVE NO POWER, PHONE SERVICE MONDAY MORNING

Wildwood City Hall will have no phone or electrical service on Monday morning.  City officials posted an advisory on their website announcing that an electrical service upgrade and emergency repair is needed, so the lights will be off until Monday afternoon. ##

TWO CHARGED WITH PEDDLING DRUGS IN WILDWOOD

Wildwood Police have announced the arrests of two adults for alleging selling and possessing drugs in their West Taylor Avenue home.  Police have charged 34 year old Danny Joyner and 58 year old Dorothy Peak with multiple drug offenses.  Joyner was lodged in the County Jail; Peak was released on a summons. ##

WILDWOOD TO ACCEPT PLASTIC THIS SUMMER FOR BEACH SERVICES

REPORT: LOCAL HOOPS STAR TO PLAY COLLEGE BALL IN PHILADELPHIA

Mackenzie McCracken will be playing college basketball at Philadelphia’s Holy Family University.  Brian Cunniff of the Gazette Leader reports that McCracken has made the choice to play at the Division II school following an outstanding career at Wildwood High.  Last year McCracken lead all of South Jersey in scoring at 25.1 points per game. ##
